We are staying away from that for this game, but we see the Yankees winning game 1. The Phillies have been off for quite awhile now and the Yankees are clicking on all cylinders at this point. When it comes down to it if we are choosing between CC and Lee, you have to go with CC. Yankees 4-3.

Delayed by rain yesterday tonight’s game should go off without a hitch. The Yankees had the game in hand on Thursday with a classic Yankees comeback in the seventh, but starter AJ Burnett started the bottom half of the seventh when he maybe shouldn’t have and the team gave up the lead. Hope remained in the ninth when the Yankees loaded the bases, but Swisher was unable to connect and the game ended with Fuentes getting an extremely sloppy save.
What does it all mean? Despite the loss, I think that the Yankees played better on that day and I have more faith in them going forward than I do in the Angels. The Angels play on this day was one of desperation. Tonight the weather, the home crowd and the pitching matchup is in the Yankees favor. I fully expect them to lock it up and send this one to the World Series. Yankees 5-3.
