The World Series is here and what a matchup it is. The defending champs against the best team in the league this year. This should really be a classic matchup. Game 1 features a pitching duel to make Indians fans cry as CC Sabathia faces Cliff Lee. The over/under is set at 7.5, one of the lowest of the entire playoffs, for these two so that shows how good they are. We are staying away from that for this game, but we see the Yankees winning game 1. The Phillies have been off for quite awhile now and the Yankees are clicking on all cylinders at this point. When it comes down to it if we are choosing between CC and Lee, you have to go with CC. Yankees 4-3.

Great day yesterday with things playing out pretty close to how we expected them (well, besides the extras in LA). Today we’re going with the Yankees and under. Why? Because this is exactly what they signed CC Sabathia to do. This is the game he was brought in to win and I don’t think he’s going to let them down. If he does what he was signed to do, Girardi won’t have a chance to mess up the bullpen. Yankees 5-2.
